Wendy Yu, PhD(c), L.Ac, FABORM
Wendy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from Rutgers University. She then attended Samra University, where she received a Masters degree in Oriental Medicine.
She has since aligned herself with many of the most well-respected practitioners in the fields of Oriental and functional medicine including Jeffrey Yuen, Kiiko Matsumoto and Jeffrey Bland and has taken a particular interest in women's health.
Wendy stresses the influential roles that lifestyle and nutrition play in the development and progression of illness and how crucial proper nutrition and life change are in bringing about positive changes in one's overall health.
Utilizing a holistic approach to healing, Wendy feels it is important to take into account the vastly interconnected web of environmental influences, lifestyle, diet, genetics, stress and mind-body interaction. She utilizes modalities which include: acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and nutritional intervention for the purpose of prevention and healing.
Wendy practices in Los Angeles and is currently involved in infertility and pediatrics research both at the Sher Institutes for Reproductive Medicine and the Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles.
