Overcoming Infertility: Taking a Holistic Approach
Fertility happens when the right conditions meet with the right timing. If you are having trouble getting pregnant or maintaining a pregnancy, it is vitally important to look at all of these conditions.
One of the biggest problems we see with most approaches to infertility is the focus on infertility as a "thing" that needs to be treated. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Infertility is a functional issue that can be the result of a multitude of factors. Things like environmental, metabolic, energetic, dietary and emotional factors are not secondary. These can all be primary endocrine disruptors and can keep you from getting pregnant even if you are doing high-tech reproductive procedures. This is why we feel it is crucial to take a holistic approach to treating infertility.
Holistic means that you consider the entire picture. This includes conventional medicine. A thorough conventional workup is essential to having a complete picture of your reproductive health.
However, a conventional workup is not enough. We have seen this with many cases of resistant, long-term infertility. Through years of research and practice, we have developed a systematic, holistic approach to overcoming infertility and restoring functional health. The techniques we utilize have been shown in published clinical trials to produce over 80% live birth rates (over a three year period) in couples that were previously infertile.
This success rate was without the use of conventional techniques. Had conventional medicine been added into the picture, the rates would probably have been even higher. These are the kinds of results you get when you look at people's individual situations, strengths and weaknesses and correct what is wrong with that particular person. This creates healthier couples which in turn create healthy babies.
At ECCM it's not just about helping people get pregnant. It's about helping people get healthy so that they have healthy pregnancies and healthy children.
