- Keep Warm
- It is absolutely essential that you keep your body warm. From a Chinese medicine perspective, cold has a constrictive nature. We want to ensure the smooth flow of blood, energy and micronutrients to the uterus to facilitate implantation and proper development of the fetus. Wear socks. No belly shirts. No cold icy drinks or foods.
- Reduce Stress
- Physical, physiological and emotional stress should be minimized.
- Dietary Restrictions
- Completely avoid Smoking (even second hand).
- Avoid Cats
- Homemade soups are easy and very nutritious
- Slow cooking is best and easy with a crock pot.
- For faster cooking, you can use a non-aluminum pressure cookers (one brand we are familiar with that has stainless steel pressure cookers is T-Fal).
